Can I Meet With A Counselor Of The Opposite Sex?

At Heart Talk Biblical Counseling, we have a strict policy requiring individual counseling sessions to be held with a counselor of the same sex.

How Many Times Will We Meet?

The duration of counseling depends on a number of factors. It's impossible to know how many sessions it will take to deal with a specific problem. However, we tend to meet at minimum 3 times.

How Can I prepare For Our Sessions?

Dealing with the problems of life require God's Holy Spirit. You can prepare by being prayerful and asking for God's help throughout the process. Additionally, please be sure to bring a Bible as well as a notebook to make notes during our conversations. You will be given homework during most sessions. Therefore, you should set aside at least one hour each week to complete homework assignments.
